Unfortunate dinner at Damon's

I started the Independent Post with a Valentine story, I'm gonna continue it now.
According to my expectations, confirmed by my Marco Pierre White management, couples were drinking Laurent Perrier, previously given roses and chocolates. Not all of them. For a couple from Newark the dinner at Damon's didn't turn out to be the best experience. They weren't given  the rose, either the chocolates, since, as the waitress said: they were not a real couple. They were Liz and Hurley, lesbians. How abnormal is this? Lovers complained several times and in the end they received an apology. Quite interesting, considering recent gay marriage context. How does it look in practice? If they don't receive a rose, will they be widely accepted? Church, Government and public opinion is pointless, apparently a simple restaurant visit seems to be an answer. Difference of opinions is significant, but only the one of interested couples ought to be taken into consideration. None can change the entire society, it's up to them if they wanna live in the middle of it.

Bloga rozpoczęłam opowieścią walentynkową, pora na kontynuację. Moje oczekiwania potwierdzone zostały przez menadżerów Marco Pierre White. Pary wypiły ogromne ilości różowego Laurent Perrier. Dostały róże i czekoladki. Hmm... nie wszystkie. Dla pary z Newark kolacja w Damon nie była najlepszym doświadczeniem. Zakochani nie dostali bowiem róż, bo, według kelnerki: nie byli normalną parą. Byli Liz i Hurley: lesbijkami. Jak nienormalne się to wydaje? Zakochane złożyły kilkakrotne zażalenia, wreszcie otrzymały przeprosiny. Całkiem interesujące, biorąc pod uwagę kontekst małżeństwa osób tej samej płci. Jak to wygląda w praktyce? Jeśli nie otrzymują róży, będą akceptowani? Kościół, Rząd i opinia publiczna wydają się zbędne, wystarczy zwykła wizyta w restauracji. Różnica poglądów jest nie do pokonania, tylko zdanie zainteresowanych par powinno być brane pod uwagę. Nikt nie zmieni środowiska, to od niedoszłych narzeczonych zależy, czy chcą żyć w jego środku.
